This printer was mainly bought to be used as a picture printer. The printer arrived in good condition, with enough of packaging tape to keep the printer components in place.
With my iPhone and the Epson app, installation was a simple. The app guided you through the process of setting up the printer. The inks essentially load itself; each ink has its own configuration, and the printer has its own as well. The ink bottle only fills the color tank to the point where it stops filling.
There are many options for connecting the printer; I chose WIFI. Epson made connecting to WIFI with my iPhone very simple. The front trays are divided into two sections, one for 8×11 paper and the other for picture material.
